Update 6/18: In case you missed the training session this past Saturday, a recording can be viewed here.

Are you interested in the Brisbane Baylands?  The much-anticipated draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is scheduled to be published this summer.  Join in with your neighbors in a FREE TRAINING on environmental impact reports.   At this training you will learn about the environmental review process, how to read this technical document, and how you can effectively participate in the decision-making process.  Thank you to all who responded to the Draft EIR Survey, which has helped the workshop facilitators prepare an effective training session for the Community.

The training session will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm in the Community Meeting Room at City Hall (50 Park Place, Brisbane).

We'd love to see you there but if you can't make it down to City Hall that day, the event will be televised on live Cable Channel 27* and webcast on the Live Streaming page.

More information on this training will be coming in the next several weeks through the City's website and the next edition of the Brisbane CityNews.  For the latest information on the Baylands, check in on the City's Baylands webpage.

* Due to the workshop taking place during the time the June 11th Council Meeting would have been replayed, that meeting replay has been scheduled to take place at 5:00pm.  The June 13th Council Meeting Replay will occur on Sunday June 17th at 12:00pm and again at 6:00pm.

I am currently seeking an

I am currently seeking an Interim Use Permit on the southern part of the old railroad yard. I have requested a meeting with the City Manager, Clay Holstine, city staff members and city officials to get preliminary input as to their thoughts, concerns, and feedback on what could be implemented on the site as far as uses, infrastructure, etc. I am sure the city departments will be notified as to time and date of this meeting and I look
forward to meeting all those attending, getting their input on my proposal.
If anyone wants to ask me a question or two, or would like me to address any subject matter concerning the site, please feel free to contact me.
