Do you have plastic bags piling up in your house?  Have you tried re-using them for other purposes first?  Well if you would like to dispose of them, you can now do so at the Post Office, where a special receptacle was placed earlier today by South San Francisco Scavengers for the community to drop off clean, dry plastic bags.  Please do note the types of plastic bags that are allowed to be dropped off (click the image to view larger).  They include: dry cleaning bags, bread bags, retail bags, and produce bags.  Please do NOT drop into the receptacle salad mix bags, or other rigid plastic including packing foam or peanuts, plastic bottles, or hangers.  Thank you for disposing of your clean, dry plastic bags!
