Community Park

Brisbane has several parks and trails. At the center of town is the Community Park, which houses the city's main playground, as well as a beautiful gazebo and picnic tables. It's also the location of the weekly Thursday Farmers' Market.

Community Park Reservations

In 2012, two age-appropriate play structures were installed along with a separate swing area. Both areas have poured-in-place rubber and there is a small sand pit near the play structures, terrific for developing motor skills, building hand-eye coordination, and strengthening muscles. Please do not use the water bottle filler outside of the restrooms for sand play as the sand clogs the drain, resulting in costly maintenance. The seatwall adjacent to the swing area features the 180+ donors that contributed towards the new Community Park Playground.
