City of Brisbane’s Decision to File a Legal Challenge to the CAHSRA’s Approval of its EIR/EIS for the SF-SJ Project Segment

On September 15, 2022, the City of Brisbane filed a legal challenge to the California High-Speed Rail Authority’s plan for the Peninsula, including its proposal to build a 121 acre maintenance facility on the Baylands. The City believes the Rail Authority’s planning and approval process violated the California Environmental Quality Act.  You can review our challenge here.
