Volunteer of the Year

Each year, the City recognizes a Brisbane resident as its "Volunteer of the Year".  After carefully reviewing nominations and letters of recommendation from residents, an ad hoc subcommittee comprised of City Councilmembers and Parks & Recreation Commissioners selects a recipient.  The Volunteer of the Year award is bestowed upon a dedicated community member who has demonstrated ongoing commitment to the City of Brisbane.  They act with the purpose of community in mind and give selflessly to others.

These recipient are known throughout the community for their contributions in many areas and are devoted to personally improving the quality of life for Brisbane residents.  They are always there with a helping hand, bright smile, and great attitude.

Nominations for Volunteer and Youth Volunteer of the Year are now being accepted!  Please send an email to nleek [at] brisbaneca.org (nleek[at]brisbaneca[dot]org).
