AYSO Soccer

AYSO Soccer is a non-profit organization of community volunteers whose mission is to provide the best for our kids. All children ages 4 ½ to 18 are welcome. Brisbane Baylands Community Advisory Group (BBCAG)

The Brisbane Baylands Community Advisory Group was established in the Spring of 2005 under the auspices of the CA Dept. of Toxic Control (DTSC) as provided for in California law. The purpose of the Brisbane Baylands Community Advisory Group is to provide an open forum and community-based input from the communities of Brisbane, Daly City, and San Francisco and to advise the agencies charged with the remediation actions on three contiguous sites commonly referred to as the Brisbane Baylands. Brisbane Dance Workshop (BDW)

Brisbane Dance Workshop partners with professional artists to facilitate classes and experiences in the performing arts. They believe in nurturing the creative and magical spirit of each participant. In building an inclusive community, their achievements are showcased in collaborative performances. Brisbane Educational Support Team and Parent Teacher Organization (BEST/PTO)

The BEST/PTO raises money to provide our schools with library books, computer technology and other needed support or materials. The BEST/PTO Foundation has been the community-based fundraising organization for the Brisbane School District since its founding in 1992. Brisbane History Committee

The Brisbane History Committee is a citizens group that formed in 2017.  It's comprised of Brisbane residents dedicated to sharing Brisbane’s history and stories. Meetings are held as-needed at City Hall or at the Brisbane Library. They are working on an Oral History Project with local filmmaker Keith Moreau.  Do you have stories of living in Brisbane?  Stories can cover any topic from growing up in Brisbane, your time at Brisbane Elementary or Lipman, or any notable events related to Brisbane.  We'd love to hear from you!  Please call (415) 347-2038 or send an email to history@brisbaneca.org.

Brisbane Lions Club

The Lions Club helps and serves the community by sponsoring community events such as Santa on the Fire Truck and Annual Easter Egg Hunt.  They also manage the Lion's Club Scholarship Awards and provide free eye exams and glasses through their Eyesight Conservation program for anyone who's not able to afford them that lives or works in town.  Please visit their Facebook page for more information: www.facebook.com/BrisbaneLionsClub.

Brisbane Village Helping Hands

Brisbane Youth Sports Association (BYSA)

Chamber of Commerce

Eagles Club

The Brisbane Eagles Club sponsors fundraisers for charities such as the American Cancer Society and for various community organizations, such as Boy Scouts and Sea Scouts. Fire in the Ring Boxing Club

The Fire in the Ring Boxing Club (FITR) is a non-profit youth organization dedicated to providing a positive outlet for the youth of Brisbane and San Francisco.  Their motto is, "Giving kids a fighting chance, one round at a time." Friends of the Brisbane Library (FOBL)

The Friends of the Brisbane Library supports the Brisbane branch within San Mateo County Libraries (www.smcl.org).  FOBL meets monthly to discuss ways that library services to the community can be improved and to plan activities such as the Citywide Yard Sale, Turn Off Your TV Week, and recently fundraised over $100,000 for the New Brisbane Library.  They meet every third Tuesday of the month at 7pm.  All are welcome.  For more information, send them an email friendsofthebrisbanelibrary@gmail.com.

Human Investment Project (HIP) Housing

Human Investment Project Housing (HIP Housing) is a non-profit organization based in San Mateo County that specializes in affordable and creative housing solutions. Each year, HIP Housing helps 1,400 people find housing or keep their homes through our Home Sharing, Self Sufficiency, and Property Development Programs. Lyrical Opposition

Lyrical Opposition is a lyrical collective of artists, activists & administrators opposing injustice through lyrical arts.  Much of their work involves working with students but they have also hosted Poetry Nights for the community as they strive to oppose injustice through social awareness & systemic change.  For more information, visit their website, lyricalopposition.org.

Mothers of Brisbane (MoB)

The Mothers of Brisbane (M.O.B.) was formed in early 2005 by group of mothers in Brisbane who wanted to create a place where moms could come together to make friends, learn about community resources, hold fun family events, arrange playgroups and childcare, share information and support, and generally have a good time together. San Bruno Mountain Watch (SBMW)

San Bruno Mountain Watch’s mission is to preserve and expand the native ecosystems of San Bruno Mountain in perpetuity, through programs in education, stewardship, citizen advocacy, and land conservation.  The organization leads hikes, gives presentations and conducts habitat restoration outings on San Bruno Mountain.  They also operate the Mission Blue Nursery.  They have plenty of opportunities to volunteer and get involved.  Hikes are on the first and third Saturdays each month at 10am.  Stewardship work takes place three times each week.  A calendar of activities is a on the SBMW website, www.mountainwatch.org.  For more information, please call (415) 467-6631, or email sanbruno@mountainwatch.org.

Senior Club

The Brisbane Senior Club provides seniors with daily (M-F) activities, events, and trips.  Activities include lunches, bingo, arts and crafts, classes, health screenings, and group excursions.  They meet every Wednesday at 11am at the Community Center, 250 Visitacion Avenue, for lunch at noon and then Bingo at around 12:30pm.  For more information, contact Nicole Houghton at (415) 508-2144 or nhoughton@brisbaneca.org.

Sierra Point Yacht Club

Founded in 1984, the Sierra Point Yacht Club is an organization dedicated to the pleasure of sailing and powerboating. Club members are a community of boat owners, their families, crewmembers and friends who seek to increase their enjoyment of the sport.
