Caltrans US 101 Alemany Deck Replacement Project Starting late April 2020

Alemany Deck Replacement Project Map

On Saturday, April 25th, Caltrans will begin construction on the U.S. 101 Deck Replacement at San Francisco’s Alemany Circle. This is a priority project for Caltrans to replace 800 feet of bridge deck on one of the Bay Area’s most heavily traveled corridors connecting the economic and population centers of the Peninsula and downtown San Francisco.  Construction is expected to last approximately two weeks.

Construction for the project was originally scheduled to take place during the month of July 2020. But because of lower traffic volumes due to the state-wide Shelter in Place Order, Caltrans quickly and proactively reevaluated the U.S. 101 Alemany Project for the possibility of an advanced construction schedule.

Questions or concerns about construction can be shared with Caltrans by email at info@101alemanyproject.com and by phone at their project hotline number, (415) 237-3827.
