This workshop is ideal for families and individuals residing or working in San Mateo County who are first-time homebuyers. To ensure they cater to those they aim to help, HEART kindly asks all attendees to register in advance and provide some basic information.

Do You Qualify?

  • Families with household incomes up to $220,000 for households of 2 or more, or $180,000 for single-person households.
  • A credit score of 680 or better.
  • Please note: This program is designed for market rate homes only, not BMR properties.

About the Program:

HEART has partnered with Meriwest Mortgage to offer a down payment assistance program that enables first-time homebuyers in San Mateo County to purchase a home with only 5% down and without the burden of PMI. Eligible properties include market rate single family homes, townhomes, or condos worth up to $1,213,500 anywhere within the county.

During the workshop, a representative will be available to discuss current market conditions, available properties, and tips on making successful offers in this competitive environment.
