New SFO Aircraft Noise Office Website

The SFO Aircraft Noise Office has a new and improved website which has a Noise and Flight Tracker that allows you to see all arriving and departing planes; if you wanted to submit a noise complaint about a specific aircraft, you can click on the comment icon.  See the new site at: noise.flysfo.com

Note: there are times that aircraft need to "use reverse flow operations" - this is not uncommon during the spring and early summer months with the winds.  In fact, if you hear on the local weather report any mention to "expect onshore winds", you can assume that planes will be operating in reverse flow and taking off into the wind for safety reasons.

Also on the new website are quarterly Fly Quiet Reports reports and Title 21/State reports.

Periodically, the SFO Aircraft Noise Office holds Noise 101 events, which are mostly educational sessions for new SFO Roundtable members.  The next Noise 101 event is taking place on Tuesday, June 20th.  An agenda will be posted to the Roundtable website soon.
