Madison Davis, City Councilmember

Madison Davis was elected to the Brisbane City Council in 2015 at the age of 24, has served two years as Mayor, and is now serving on her third term on the City Council. Prior to being elected, Madison served on the Parks and Recreation Commission where she gave input on public art for the new library. Once elected, she wanted to continue to enhance public art in Brisbane and was appointed by her colleagues to serve on the Public Art Committee. In addition, Madison is President and CEO of Brisbane’s Chamber of Commerce, interfacing with the business community daily. In her spare time, Madison is passionate about photographing architecture, landscapes, vehicles, flowers, and signs. Her work celebrates color, whimsy, and finding magic in everyday life. Known for her bright imagery, Madison strives to inspire happiness and curiosity through her photography, which she features on her Instagram and sells online. She has been published in a spread twice in Origin Magazine and her photos were used for the front and back covers of one issue.
