Leaders in Training (LIT)

General Information

The Leaders in Training (LIT) program is a great opportunity for responsible youth to develop leadership skills and have fun. LITs will be trained in child care supervision, activity programming, and leadership. LITs learn from and assist the Brisbane Summer Camp staff with all things camp. Completed LIT hours may be used as community service hours.

Interested youth must be going into 7th-11th grade and go through an interview selection process before becoming LITs. If selected, LITs must attend a mandatory training on Friday, June 21st. They will be assigned to volunteer for at least 2 weeks of summer camp.

Weekly Fees: $71/resident, $81/non-resident  

Session Dates:

• Session 1: June 24-28

• Session 2: July 1-5 *Omit 7/4

• Session 3: July 8-12

• Session 4: July 15-19

• Session 5: July 22-26

• Session 6: July 29-August 2

• Session 7: August 5-9

• Session 8: August 12-16
