Planning approvals were granted in January 2008 for development of a research & development complex consisting of five, three to four story R&D buildings, plus a parking garage with a retail liner, on an approximately 23-acre Bayfront site, located on the south side of Sierra Point Parkway and adjacent to the Brisbane Marina. A Design Permit modification (DP-6-05; approved June 2019) permitted a 21,000 square foot addition connecting the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of Bldg B and Bldg C resulting in approximately 561K square feet of R&D. Construction began in 2017 and the first couple R&D buildings have been completed and the rest are under construction. Project completion is anticipated to be mid-2022. Healthpeak Properties is the owner and the development contact is Scott Bohn, HCP Brisbane LLC, (650) 875-1002.
