San Mateo County Energy Watch (SMCEW)
SMCEW connects small and medium-sized businesses with programs that provide energy audits, technical assistance and installation support, and financial incentives for energy efficiency projects. The SMCEW team can also support small businesses with benchmarking services using Energy Star Portfolio Manager free of cost.

PG&E - Whole Building Program (NMEC)
This comprehensive manual describes the roles, requirements and processes of Pacific Gas & Electric’s (PG&E) Whole Building Performance Based Program, designed to leverage smart meter investments while bringing the benefits of Normalized Metered Energy Consumption (NMEC) to Commercial and Public Sector buildings.
BayREN Programs
BayREN Business provides rebates, financing, and one-stop-shop technical assistance to ensure small and medium businesses can leverage all available energy saving programs.
BayREN Microloans
BayREN has partnered with Mission Asset Fund (MAF) to provide small businesses with 0% interest microloans (up to $2,500) to help cover the cost of energy efficiency improvements.
PCE Programs
Peninsula Clean Energy invests in local energy programs and provides Electric Vehicle (EV) incentives, EV Ready charging incentives & technical assistance, All-electric building technical design assistance and training, home upgrades, local government support, and Power on Peninsula resiliency initiatives.
PG&E On-Bill Financing
The Energy Efficiency Retrofit Loan Program, also known as Efficiency Financing (EEF), helps eligible customers pay for energy efficiency retrofit projects with zero interest, zero penalty loans. Under the EEF program, PG&E offers two products: On-Bill Financing (OBF) and On-Bill Financing with rebates (OBF with rebates).
Transportation Related Financing
The California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA) provides financial assistance for projects that develop and commercialize advanced transportation and alternative energy technologies, conserve energy, reduce air pollution, and promote economic development, job creation and advanced manufacturing.
