2112•1•1 Can Help

Dial 2-1-1 from any phone - including cell phones - and a live person will help you with information and referrals to local community services, such as food, shelter, counseling, employment assistance, quality child care, volunteer opportunities and more. You may also visit their website to find a local 2•1•1. The service, provided through a partnership between the Contra Costa Crisis Center, Eden I&R, and United Way, is free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day in 150 languages.

Homelessness Services and Resources 

If you are experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis, please contact one of the County's Core Service Agencies, which provide clients with crisis intervention and referrals based on an evaluation of their needs and qualifications for assistance, and can provide referrals for homeless shelters and other homeless services. 

I&L SMC Connect

SMC Connect is an easy to use database maintained by the San Mateo County Human Services Agency that allows users to find and locate human services near their location, with an option to navigate the site in five different languages. 

The San Mateo County Human Services Agency also provides information online about a variety of human services available in San Mateo County, including housing-related resources.
